Representative District 22B
Vote Jason Monks
The November 3rd general election is just around the corner, and I hope that I have earned your vote to be re-elected as the Republican State Representative for District 22B. I believe that I have represented District 22 with honesty, integrity and that I have held true to my conservative principles and values.
About Jason Monks
I’d like to tell you a little bit about me and my family. I married my high school sweetheart Shelley almost 30 years ago. We have 8 children, 4 of which we adopted, and we have 7 grandkids (always hoping for more). One of the reasons I ran for office was because I want my kids and grandkids to be able to enjoy Idaho’s greatness.
My first real job in Idaho was with ZiLOG (a semiconductor manufacturer). I witnessed first hand how governmental regulations can adversely affect business when ZiLOG closed its manufacturing plant in Nampa. And now as the owner of two small businesses that employ more than 20 people, I know how tough it can be for a small business to be successful and thrive.
I am very proud of my conservative voting record, and if I am re-elected, I promise that I will continue to serve with honesty and integrity and that I will work hard to:
- Reduce the size and scope of government
- Defend the 2nd Amendment
- Protect and defend the unborn
- Promote Idaho values and Idaho solutions
- Support legislation that benefits all Idahoans and not just special interest groups
